A place for every nurse…

Sometimes the burdens we carry as nurses become heavier than we expected.

There are difficult days, heartbreaking moments, and situations when we simply don't know what to say or do. Sometimes our struggles have nothing to do with nursing at all.

Throughout my years as a hospice nurse, I've experienced many of those moments. When I felt helpless or uncertain, I often whispered a simple prayer: "Lord, please help me."

And time after time, I've found strength through prayer.

I created Sunset Lifeline because I want you to know that someone cares about what you're going through.

You don't have to share my Christian faith or have any religious beliefs to reach out. Perhaps you simply need someone to remember you and the concerns weighing on your heart.

Whatever you're facing, you're welcome here.
